Yule Time Seal Campaign Supports RAMBO Memorial Health Center
ZANESVILLE, OH – It’s the season of giving, and what better way to share the spirit than by supporting our community’s health!
The Muskingum Respiratory Care Association has launched its annual Yule Time Seal Campaign, a tradition that lets each of us play a part in keeping our neighbors healthy. This year, about 2,500 Yule Time Seal letters have been mailed out across the area, each containing a festive seal, a donation form, and a return envelope to support the work of the Rambo Memorial Health Center.
“I didn’t realize how important respiratory care was until I had COVID, and I had a hard time breathing. It made me aware of how many people in Muskingum County have respiratory problems. It’s just great to have Rambo Memorial Health. I always say it’s the best hidden secret in Muskingum County that can help prevent, treat, and help people get better,” Campaign Chairperson Keely Warden said.
Rambo offers resources like flu shots, respiratory management programs, tuberculosis testing, and much more. One of Rambo’s main missions is to prevent tuberculosis in our community. With the help of the Yule Time Seal Campaign, they’re aiming to raise $25,000 to help keep these services running strong.
“Along with asking for your help, we also want this to be an awareness campaign. Tuberculosis sounds like a disease of the past, like it doesn’t exist anymore. But it is out there. In 2023, on the average day, there was 150 active cases of TB. A lot of people don’t realize that. Unfortunately, it led to five deaths in Ohio last year. What Rambo does is very important. They do all kinds of good stuff for respiratory care, but their core mission has always been to fight and prevent the disease of tuberculosis,” Warden said.
