Yule Time Seals Campaign seeks donations

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- A Muskingum County holiday tradition is going strong, but leaders are calling on the community to lend a hand.

Every year Rambo Health Center mails Yule Time Seals to Muskingum County residents and this year was no different. Last month the campaign kicked off mailing over 22,000 seals. Blair Tom, the Campaign Chair, says the campaign has received some donations, but they need help to reach their goal.

“The goal is $22,000 to support these services and we’re a little over half. So we have a lot of work to do these last few weeks. But we know Muskingum County and we know that people will support.”

Residents that received the seals also received an envelope with a card to mail back with a donation. The donations Rambo receives goes back into the community to help fund different health programs and services the clinic offers.

“Those include respiratory assistance with medication, pulmonary function testing, pulmonary rehabilitation services, tobacco cessation classes, TB testing, flu shots. Just a wealth of services to make sure that we not only wish each other well in Muskingum county, but we take care of each other’s wellness.”

The campaign ends on December 31st so there’s still time to donate. If you did not receive seals in the mail you can contact Rambo at (740) 452-5401 to get them or to make a donation.
