Z-ville Man Found Guilty Of Gross Sexual Imposition

A Zanesville man appears in court Thursday  to answer to charges of gross sexual imposition involving a child.

Muskingum County Assistant Prosecutor Ron Welch says that 40-year-old Corbin Weck entered a no contest plea in Common Pleas Court Thursday morning.

Judge Kelly Cottrill found Weck guilty in the case.

Weck is charged with inappropriately touching a 4-year-old child at the Arch Street Shining Stars Pre-school in South Zanesville.

Welch says the incidents happened in October of 2009.

Weck is now facing five years in prison and will be classified a Tier II sex offender when he’s released from custody. That means he will have to report his location to authorities for 25 years.

Judge Cottrill has ordered a pre-sentence investigation in the case.
