ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to taste the flavors of the globe at Zane State College’s annual Ethnic Food Fair.

Zane State’s Ethnic Food Fair is scheduled for January 12th at 11 am in the Campus Center. This special occasion is a beloved tradition where guests enjoy delicious meals while celebrating the rich diversity in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy.

“We bring people from all over our community in. It’s part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day events that we have. It’s a great way to kick off the weekend,” Dean at Zane State College, Marcie Moore said.

This year’s menu once again promises a culinary voyage around the world, featuring an array of dishes from Chinese, Egyptian, Italian, to soul food. These dishes are prepared by the culinary arts students at Zane State College, under the expert direction of Chef Marc Adornetto.

This year’s fair will feature the CEO of All Well as a guest speaker.

“Our speaker this year is James McDonald, who’s the CEO of All Well. He’s speaking about the Interprise Muskingum project that’s taking place that’s getting off the ground. Our presenting sponsor is the Energy Cooperative.” Moore said.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available for purchase online or at the door. The proceeds will go towards the Joyce A. Farmer Smith Memorial Scholarship, a scholarship to honor Smith’s dedication to the advancement of minority students and her efforts to raise awareness of minority issues.
