Zanesville Attorney Fights Campaign Ruling
A Zanesville Attorney who is running for a seat on the 5th District Court of Appeals must stop distributing her campaign literature. A five judge panel appointed by the Ohio Supreme Court this week issued an interim order that Jeanette Moll desist from using campaign literature that shows her in a judge’s robe. Earlier this year the Board of Commissioners of Grievances and Discipline recommended that Moll be fined and that she destroy the fliers in question. Moll is running against Judge Patricia Delane who already sits on the 5th District Court of Appeals. Moll was a magistrate for about 10 years in Guernsey County. Moll says even though everything in her campaign flier is true she has already stopped distributing it. She says that she has already filed objections with the Ohio Supreme Court to the ruling and is awaiting a final decision.
