Zanesville Boil Advisory

Due to an emergency water main repair project the Zanesville Water Division is issuing a precautionary boil alert for customers in the affected area.
Officials ask that you don’t drink the water without boiling first. You should bring all water to a boil, let it boil for at least one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. Boiling kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
This precautionary boil advisory is issued only for the affected area, which include City of Zanesville water customers on Coopermill Road and Potts Lane.
Water samples will be collected once the work is completed and service is restored. An additional notice will be given when the boil advisory is lifted.
