Zanesville boxer to fight for Ohio super welterweight title

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – A Zanesville boxer will be competing for the Ohio super welterweight title next month.
Zakery “Ripper” Rollins turned pro two years ago and since then has gone undefeated in his first five professional fights, including two knockouts. On March 4 at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus he’ll take on Daniel Karpency of Pennsylvania, who has a record of 7-1. The 20-year-old Rollins trains at TJ Hart Boxing in Zanesville.
Also on the card will be Toledo’s Sonny Fredrickson and Brian Holstein of Columbus. Supporters can get tickets to the fight at the Police Athletic League at 804 Pine Street.
