Zanesville Daybreak and Noon Rotary Team up for Veterans Day Parade
ZANESVILLE, OH – The City of Zanesville’s Veterans Day Parade is quickly approaching.
The Zanesville Daybreak and Noon Rotary Clubs are teaming up to help honor those who fought for our country.
Kelly Ashby, the Vice President of the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce and Committee Member of the Zanesville Noon Rotary Veterans Day Parade, says they’ve been busy at work putting the whole parade together for this Saturday, Nov. 9th at 11am.
She said this is the perfect way to honor all of the Muskingum County Veterans and their service.
“We all have our freedoms because of our veterans.” Ashby said. “It is important for us to realize the history, important for us to just pay tribute to our, everything they have done for not only Muskingum County but Ohio and the United States, so it’s really important and that’s why it is one of the projects that Noon and Daybreak Rotary said absolutely, let us put this parade on.”
Ashby said there is still time if you’d like to enter yourself or organization into the parade.
She said it’s open to anyone who wants to pay homage to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
“The parade is open to, if you want to be one person and march in the parade, absolutely,” Ashby said. “If you are a company, organization, non-profit, church, if you want to have a car, if you want to have a band, if you want to play music, if you want to sing absolutely, It is open to everyone, fill out the form.”

The parade will air on WHIZ-NBC at Noon on Monday and on Fox 5 at 1PM Monday.
