Zanesville Daybreak Rotary Membership Mixer

ZANESVILLE, OH – If you’ve been looking for a way to help your community, the Daybreak Rotary is getting ready to host the event just for you.

On Thursday, September 24th, they will be hosting a Membership Mixer and Service Project day from 5:30 until 7:30PM at A Taste of Ohio Wine, Bourbon, and Beer.

Amy Froelich, the President of the Zanesville Daybreak Rotary Club, says members can bring a guest for a night of friends, food, and giving back.

“We invite all of our members to come and bring a guest. We want you to help us package up some socks, some ponchos, and some hand warmers for those in need in our community.” Froelich said. “So you’ll be able to see exactly what Rotary is all about. We’ll have some refreshments for you, there’s no cost to get in, and we’re just looking forward to, not only our members, but community members to come in and just visit us, see what it’s all about.”

Froelich says their goal is to help not just community members, but also those around the world.

She says they keep service above themselves and if someone is in need, all they have to do is reach out to see what Rotarians can do for them.

“We kind of partner with anybody in the community who might need us.” Froelich said. “To either fund projects for them or simply partner with them and volunteer on projects, like the recent flood disaster, we partnered a lot with our United Way friends to make sure that we could do donations and also just provide bodies to help service those in those communities that needed us.”
