Zanesville Gears up for a Jolly Holiday Season

ZANESVILLE, OH – Zanesville is getting ready to spread some holiday cheer with the annual Storybook Christmas Parade.

The Parade is set to step off on Wednesday, Dec. 4th from 6 to 7PM. The parade route will start on Shinnick St, head down N 6th, and end on Market St.

Jordin Harmer, the Information Specialist with Visit Zanesville, said the parade is the kick off to all of the holiday fun that will be happening around the area. She also said this is a great way for businesses to get out and promote themselves in a fun way.

“It is a fabulous way to showcase your business or organization,” Harmer said. “And just be a part of the community.”

Harmer said the fun doesn’t stop when the parade is over. She said following the parade Santa will be at his house, located outside of Secrest Auditorium, from 7:30 until 8PM.

“Storybook Christmas is a whole month of series of events and attractions in Muskingum, not just in Zanesville, but Muskingum County as well,” Harmer said. “And it’s just a great chance to make memories with your family and friends and enjoy the season.”
