Zanesville Jaycees’ Food Truck Rally Promises Fun for All Ages

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Jaycees are gearing up for a day filled with food, fun, and friends.

The Jaycees are hosting their Food Truck Rally fundraiser this Saturday, May 18th at Zane’s Landing.

Mike Walton, the President of the Zanesville Jaycees, says there will be something for all ages.

“We’ve got 15 different food trucks confirmed as of now, we’ll have some inflatables for kids.” Walton said. “The Fire Department is coming down to do a touch-a-truck event, ZPD is going to be showing up with a cop car, so plenty of things for kids to do. There will be a huge variety of food and the beer garden will be there, as always.”

Walton says this is the biggest fundraiser they put on every year and this year the funds will be heading to their Stars and Stripes Scholarships.

He also says they host this event on Armed Forces Day every year as a way to give back to the community.

Walton says he loves to hear stories and memories from people who have attended the Food Truck Rally in the past.

“It’s awesome, like I said, this is our way to kick off the summer every year and you know prepare everyone for a great time.” Walton said. “But, people coming back and saying, ‘Hey, I remember this from 2004.’ like, oh wow, that’s awesome! To meet people that were previous Jaycees members is always a really, really cool feeling.”

The Food Truck Rally will start at around Noon and wrap up around nightfall.
