Zanesville Man Indicted on Sex Charges

A Zanesville man is facing sex charges involving a minor under the age of 10 years old. Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox says that 50-year-old Bill Lewis was indicted this week by a Muskingum County Grand Jury on four counts of rape, eight counts of gross sexual imposition and one count of endangering children. Haddox says the first count of rape carries with it a life sentence if a conviction occurs. The Prosecutor says the alleged incidents occurred to one victim between January 1st of 2013 and May 25th of 2014. Haddox says Lewis will be arraigned next Wednesday. He is being held in the county jail.
