Zanesville Man Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges

A Zanesville man pleads guilty to multiple drug charges in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.

27-year-old Corey Wood appeared Monday before Judge Mark Fleegle where he entered guilty pleas to charges of trafficking in cocaine and counterfeit controlled substances and possession of marijuana.
 

Wood was arrested last August during a drug investigation that resulted in a foot chase in the Putnam area.
 

Wood is being held in the Muskingum County jail on a $25,000 bond.
 

He is scheduled to be sentenced next Monday.
