Zanesville Man Pleads Guilty to Rape

A Zanesville man pleads guilty to raping a child.

26-year-old Joseph Kinney appeared Thursday  in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court  where he entered the guilty plea to charges of rape involving a victim under the age of 10 and gross sexual imposition.Kinney faces a life sentence on the rape charge.
 

Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
 

Kinney is being held in the Muskingum County jail on a $1 million bond.
