Zanesville Man Pleads Guilty to Robbery
A Zanesville man has pleaded guilty to a robbery charge in connection with an incident at a local grocery store.
48-year-old Jeffrey Johnson entered the plea Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court.
Zanesville police say on February 24th, Johnson stole several items from the Pick N Save on Howard Street .Detectives say he also threatened two employees with a knife before fleeing the store.
No one was injured in the incident.
Judge Kelly Cottrill ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
