Zanesville Man Sentenced on Felony Charges

A Zanesville man appeared Monday in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court for sentencing on several charges including felonious assault.

29-year-old William Northrop Jr. went before Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill where he received a four year prison term on charges of aggravated robbery, felonious assault and theft.
 

Northrop pled guilty to the charges in May which stemmed from an incident back in February.
 

A co-defendent in the case, 25-year-old Thomas Nessline, was sentenced last week to three years in prison on similar charges.
