Zanesville Man Sentenced on Rape Charge

A Zanesville man was sentenced in court Monday on a rape charge.
 

26-year-old Joseph Kinney appeared before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Kelly Cottrill where he received a 15 year to life sentence on charges of rape involving a victim under the age of 10 and gross sexual imposition.
 

Kinney pleaded guilty to the charges in May.
 

Judge Cottrill also classified Kinney as a Tier III sex offender.
