Zanesville Museum of Art 76th Ohio Annual Exhibition Still Accepting Applicants

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zanesville Museum of Art will be hosting their 76th Annual Art Exhibition virtually for the second year!
The exhibition will be held in June but is still open to all Ohio artists now until April 15th.
There will be a $1000 award for the Best in Show, and all types of mediums are accepted.
All of the submissions that are accepted will be put together into a virtual art gallery on the museum’s website.
Laine Snyder, the Executive Director of the Zanesville Museum of Art says the exhibition is anticipating a large number of applicants.
Snyder let us know “Each year this exhibition has been growing, so in its early stages we might’ve had less than 100, but now we have over 400 applicants from throughout the state. So it’s a really widely anticipated exhibition for Ohio artists.”

Artists in all stages are encouraged to participate and show off their work, which must be from the past two years.
This year’s special guest juror will be Cat Sheridan, an Ohio native and director of the Riffe Gallery in Columbus of the Ohio Arts Council.
“Its wonderful to partner once again with the Ohio Arts Council to really forefront Ohio artists. It’s something that they do best so were really lucky to be working with Cat Sheridan,” Snyder proclaimed to us.
Competitors must be 18 or older to participate, and there will be $100 cash prizes for several other categories as well.
Applications are $25, and are due on April 15th and to submit art, you can visit the museums website.
