ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zanesville and Muskingum County have a variety of dining venues that offer an even broader diversity of flavor.

Zanesville-Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau Manager Jordin Harmer explained how her organization is working with local businesses to promote the flavors of Zanesville.

“So we have something brand new this year. It’s the Zanesville-Muskingum Martini Trail and that will kick off on January 30th, so next Friday. It will run through March so you’ll have a couple of months to go through all the different offerings of martinis. So we have highlighted some local establishments and they’re offering special martinis,” Harmer said.

Martini Trail was organized not only for visitors to experience a taste of Zanesville but to encourage residents to patron establishments they may not have known about or visited in years.

“We invite our visitors and locals alike to go through and try different martinis, have dinner. This is not something that we are encouraging you to do all in one day. It’s not a one day challenge. We do promote responsible consumption. So you have two months to do… try all the different offerings. So maybe a couple each weekend or something,” Harmer said.

If martinis are not your thing, they’re not the only items on the menus of the participating establishments. Plus the change in settings and cuisines are a fun way to cure cabin fever.
