Zanesville, Ohio- One extraordinary art exhibit here in the city of Zanesville has come to an end.

Saturday, Zanesville Prize for Contemporary Ceramics said goodbye to a highly anticipated exhibit.

“Today we’re ending the show that opened to the public the 8th of October. We’ve been open everyday, weekends included from 1 to 5 each day,” said Director of Zanesville Prize, David Mitzel.

Many of the ceramic pieces have been created by artists all across the world. Each piece has been hand crafted and strategically selected for this exhibit.

We have here seventy-five works that were selected by 3 jurors. One from California, one from Massachusetts, and one from Ohio. They come and view 11,000 images to pick out seventy-five pieces,” said Mitzel.

Now that the exhibit has ended, the pieces will be transferred to The Zanesville Museum of Art.
