Zanesville Rotary Clubs Team up for Blood Drive

ZANESVILLE, OH –The Zanesville Noon and Daybreak Rotary Clubs have teamed up for the Red Cross blood drive located at Secrest Auditorium.
Blood supplies often run low during this time of year, making donations critical for local hospitals. If interested, donors can even walk away with a free shirt and some refreshments.
Secrest Auditorium Director Rick Sabine expressed his gratitude for those who came out to support.
“We’re having another blood drive. This is a partnership between the Daybreak Rotary Club and the Noon Rotary Club, we’ve partnered on this to help increase blood donations in our community.”
Although the rotary clubs are relatively new to hosting blood drives, they have received strong support from the community, as evidenced by their full blood drive signup sheet.
“As I understand it, from them (Red Cross), we’re full today. We’ve accomplished a lot today. We do have future blood drives, so we’d like TV viewers to watch our social media or WHIZ for more information about those upcoming drives that have been very valuable to our community.”
In 2025, the Red Cross will add more incentives to encourage those who are interested and eligible to come out and support. These include gift cards, a chance to win tickets to the super bowl, a chance to win tickets to cedar point, and much more. If you’re looking for more information on how to donate, please visit the Red Cross website or swing by the Noon and Daybreak Rotary Club Facebook pages.
