Zanesville To Swear-In New Fire Chief

The City of Zanesville will soon have a new fire Chief. Zanesville.  

Public Safety Director Bob Brandford Thursday announced that a swearing-in ceremony will be held for Craig Stemm’s promotion to Fire Chief on June 3rd. 

Stemm, who was an Assistant Fire Chief, was named Acting Chief when Chief Dave Lacy retired in January of 2011.

 Brandford says the ceremony will take place in City Council Chambers at 3:00 pm.

  Stemm has been with ZFD for over 30 years.
