Zanesville Water Main Break

City of Zanesville Water crews will spend most of their Labor day working to repair a water main break on a busy roadway.

Crews have shut down both southbound lanes of Maple Avenue from Bell to Princeton. An 8 inch water main broke around the McDonald’s/Harding Road area early Monday morning.

Officials said that northbound traffic is running smooth. They also said it is possible that they may move a lane of southbound traffic into one of the northbound lanes.

Only the McDonald’s is without water at this time. We’ll bring you more as it becomes available.
