Zanesville Woman Wins $100,000
A Zanesville woman wins with an instant lottery ticket. The Ohio Lottery says that Barbara Bookless took the six dollar change from a Rite-Aid purchase and bought a Special Edition Cashword ticket. It was a 100-thousand dollar winner. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, Bookless receives 71-thousand dollars. She says the win came at a good time since her husband is recovering from a hospital stay. Bookless bought the ticket at the Zanesville Rite Aid at 825 Main Street. The store receives a one-thousand dollar bonus for selling the winning ticket.
