ZFD: Greenwood Avenue Fire Investigated

The Zanesville Fire Department is investigating an early Wednesday fire. It happened just after 1:30 a.m.  at 996 Greenwood Avenue.  Assistant Fire Chief Doug Hobson says a person recently moved out of the house and had left their belongings on the front lawn. Hobson says someone set them on fire which then caught the front of the house on fire and burned through the attic. Investigators say 20-thosuand dollars in damaged was done to the home. The fire remains under investigation.
