ZPD Investigates Car vs Truck Accident

The Zanesville Police Department is investigating an accident on Maple Avenue at Taylor Street. It involved a car and a truck around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Officers say the driver of the car was pulling out of Family Dollar and drove under the truck. There were three people in the vehicle and two were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured. Police say the driver of the car will be cited. No other details have been released.
