ZPD Investigates Child Struck by Car

Zanesville Police are investigating an accident involving a 5 year-old child being struck by a car. Chief Kenneth Miller says it happened Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at 1067 Pine Street. Miller says the vehicle in the accident had the green light and struck the child who was crossing the road. The child is being treated at Genesis Hospital with arm and head injuries.
