14th Annual Farm Show

DRESDEN, Ohio – A weekend celebrating the past. The Education of Yesterday’s 14th annual Farm Show is on October 20 and 21st.
The goal of the show is to preserve old machinery, and teach children of this generation machines of the past. The farm show started with the Moore family honoring their late father’s vision of wanting to teach kids about old farming equipment and antiques. Organizer, Kendra Hindel, thinks this event is important for remembering the old heritage,
“It was his vision so now we’re just trying to continue his dream,” Hindel said.
Kids will have the opportunity to see and learn about different farming techniques and machines. The show will feature all types of working farm and construction equipment. Plus displays of tractors, trucks, and cars. The admission is free, and there will be games and activities for kids. Parking donations will be accepted and used for the ongoing teaching of “Education of Yesterday”.
“It does keep the heritage around the area. And like I said, it keeps the old stuff out there,” explained Hindel.
The farm show will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 20th and 10 to 4 on Sunday, October 21st at 3685 Cass Irish Ridge Road in Dresden.
