170th Annual Muskingum Blue Ribbon Fair Has a Variety of Food Choices

There are some pretty neat things happening at the Muskingum County fair, including lots of great food.

We stopped by McCune Super Tenderloin. This family owned and operated business has been cooking up tenderloins for 12 years.

“We travel [to] five county fairs and provide the tenderloins sandwich,” Brad McCune said. “Depending upon which fair we’re at, we have some other sandwiches as well. But the tenderloins seems to be a favorite and definitely a favorite among Muskingum County Fair goers.”

McCune also told us what he considers as fair food.

“You can eat something here at the fair that you can eat some place else, but it doesn’t taste quite the same as it does at the fair. There’s an excitement here that builds with the junior live stock and the grand stand events. Just the smell of everything together, I think makes fair food good for that one week a year. It taste different,” McCune said.

The Muskingum Fair County runs through Saturday.
