Enjoying Labor Day Golf

NASHPORT, Ohio- Many view Labor Day as the unofficial end of summer.
Monday our crew stopped by Vista Golf Course to see how area golfers are enjoying the unofficial end of the summer with a round of golf.
“Golf is just one of those great sports you can play for all your life,” General Manager Casey Lepi said. “You get to be outside on day like this. I mean you really can’t beat being outside, spending time with family. It’s just a good way to get out outside. Do something. Get out of the house.”
Folks were able to warm up with a round of golf in morning before the afternoon barbecue. And after they feast they can come back and enjoy another round.
“Vista is one of those great golf courses, especially for the older crowd because it’s very flat. Oppose to a lot of other courses you are able to get a little bit closer to your ball and the restrictions are less. It makes it for an easier round of golf. Weather permitting we’ll be open until November. We’ll be open as long as the weather stays good. We’re going to stay open and continue to have golf here.”
Lepi hopes to start hosting Ohio State game day parties in the near future. For updates and specials, visit vistagolfcourse.com.
