Fall Festival For Kids

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Careytown Preschool and Child Care Center held their yearly Fall Festival to give parents an affordable way to spend the afternoon with their kids.
Fall Festival is a yearly tradition for Careytown and the preschool’s Executive Director Beverly Singleton said it’s something that student’s look forward to all year long.
“We try to offer something inexpensive so that the parents and the children can enjoy something. So they go around to each of the rooms and play games and then they will get a prize ticket. And upstairs we have a prize room and they can turn their tickets in for prizes,†said Singleton.
Singleton said that they have put on a Fall Day since 1991. In addition to giving kids something to do on a Saturday, Singleton said it gives parents a chance to meet the staff.
“We like to give families an opportunity to come in and spend time with the teachers as well as meet the other parents and staff so they can feel comfortable and open,†said Singleton.
Singleton said they are already excited for next year’s Fall Festival.
