Pet of the Week: Nine-Year-Old Addy

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- It’s not quite Friday, but it’s time for our weekly visit to The Animal Shelter to see this week’s Pet of the Week.

This week’s featured pet is nine year old Addy. Animal Shelter’s Executive Director Jody Murray said Addy is very people friendly. Addy’s adoption fee is $115.

“We would recommend that if you have pets at home let us know,” Animal Shelter, Executive Director, Jody Murray said. “So we can bring them in and do a meet and greet. We had him around some other dogs this morning, he seemed to be ok with that.But he is very inquisitive.”

Timber Run Gardens is having a holiday decor basket give away to help support The Animal Shelter.

“Every year we try to give back to the community in some form,” Timber Run Gardens, Employee, Kathy Mohler said. “This year we decided to help the animal shelter. We’re having a drive to collect items from their wish list. If everybody would bring in just one item they can put their name into the drawing for the gift basket we have here to give away.”

Mohler said the gift basket is valued at $200. The drawing will be held on December 17th during The Animal Shelter’s Adoption Event at Timber Run Gardens.
