Sara Evans coming to Zanesville

Dusty Guitar Promotions is allowing Zanesville to celebrate a country Christmas this year.

Sara Evans is performing at Secrest Auditorium on December 18, 2016 with doors opening at 5:30 P.M. and the concert starting at 7:00 P.M. Director of Operations, Sara Haren said Sara Evans will be singing a mixture of her hit songs and christmas songs.

“We actually had a couple of Sara Evans Christmas and hit shows last year in a few different cities and it was a wonderful performance,” said Haren. “She did a great job and were really excited. So we wanted to get her in Zanesville this year, since this is our hometown, we wanted to bring that really cool show here. So we’re happy too have her.”

Haren said this is the second country singer they’ve brought to Zanesville. The first country christmas performer was Kenny Rogers a few years ago.

“So this is something that we’d hope to continue in the future, every Christmas,” said Haren. “To bring someone big in to do a nice performance for everyone. Support is all we need so if people keep coming we’re going to keep bringing whatever anyone wants to see country, rock, comedy, you name it and we’ll bring it. All they have to do is let us know who they want to see.
