Bishop Roscrans show Patriotic Pride

Bishop Rosecrans High School is showing their pride in our country during the National Anthem at Sporting events.
Starting tomorrow Bishop Roscrans will roll out a flag during the National Anthem before the men’s basketball game starts at 7:30 P.M. Bishop’s Athletic Association President, Chris Zemba said American Pride donated the 30 by 60 foot American flag to the school to use during their sporting events.
“The initial thought process started just with a group of people that wanted to show our patriotism here at school and give respect to those who give us our freedoms we have,” Zemba said.
Zemba said they’ll use the flag at every home game that they can and they hope the fans like the addition of the flag.
“Anybody can help hold it you know we want to make sure that is clear,” said Zemba. “We’re going to ask the opposing team to help hold it along with our team, but we would ask anyone that is in the gymnasium home team or away team. If they want to help hold the flag during the National Anthem we would welcome that.”
Zemba said once basketball season is over they’ll look into making the flag accessible for football games.
