Mollie Crooks first County Commissioner Meeting

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Recently Elected Republican, Mollie Crooks started her first day as County Commissioner on January 3, 2017Â and today was the first Muskingum County Commissioner meeting for the year.
Crooks said she’s excited to start and that the day started with some good healthy conversations with the other commissioners.
“It really is a great opportunity and people have been very helpful and forthcoming and I know I have only hit the tip of the iceberg as far as what I have to learn, but that’s what’s exciting about the whole opportunity is hearing what the potential is for the community,” Crooks said.
Crooks said coming into the position she feels strong expectations and that our county has strong leadership.
“Our county is ready for us to move forward and to be vibrant and grow and while that’s exciting it’s also kind of daunting task and you only do that if you work together and you respect the other folks, the other elected officials and the department heads,” Crooks said.
The Muskingum County Commissioners will have their annual organizational meeting to vote on their president and other positions Monday January 9, 2017.
