ZAAP offers diversity

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project is changing it up for this months Art Walk.
Instead of picking an Artist of the Month, ZAAP decided to feature multiple artists. ZAAP Member Chloe Fritz said they used this month to show off their artists work with photography.
“It’s great for people to come in and see,” said Fritz. “Most of the work is I think from Zanesville, but there’s some other stuff I know one piece on the end is from Columbus. So it’s really great to get in and see, you know the wide variety.”
Fritz said there is variety in the focus of each picture, difference in framing, and how the photos are printed so that people can see the different ways to work with photography.
“We just wanted to get something new and different in here,” said Fritz. “I think ZAAP works a lot in painting and so, you know if you come in here every month you’d see a lot of paintings obviously that’s great. We wanted to get a little diversity and a lot of our painters also do work in photography, but don’t chose to show that every month.”
ZAAP will be open January 6, 2017Â for the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
