Lady Wildcats get ready for final four

NEWARK, Ohio – The Newark Lady Wildcats are undefeated and in the state final four for just the second time in school history.

The Cats have won their six tournament games by an average score of 70-35, and now they’ll take on powerhouse Notre Dame Academy who’s been in the final four five of the last six years. The only other appearance in the state tournament for the Newark girls was in 2015, when they lost to Hilliard Bradley.

The final four is this Friday and the game tips from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus at 8 p.m.
