3-vehicle crash causes traffic jam on Maple Ave.

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Traffic was slow after a crash on Saturday afternoon.

Zanesville City Police say the crash happened around 2 p.m. near Rally’s. A car was left with significant damage to the rear of the vehicle after it was struck from behind. Officers say a truck hit an SUV which ran into the car.

According to officials, the truck driver was cited with failing to give assured clear distance ahead.
