Arrest Made in Morgan County Shooting

The Morgan County Sherriff’s Office says it made an arrest in connection with a June 26th shooting incident near McConnelsville. Sheriff Douglas McGrath says 18-year-old Maleik Hanning of 1355 Washington Street in Pennsville was taken into custody Friday after a search warrant was executed at his home and a small amount of drugs were confiscated. McGrath says it appears the motive for the shooting stemmed from a robbery involving drugs and money.
