Police: Man dies after shot several times inside vehicle

CLEVELAND (AP) — Police say a man was shot several times while he was inside a vehicle in Cleveland and has died.

Cleveland police say the man died early Sunday after he was shot around 4 a.m. on the city’s East Side. The Cuyahoga (ky-uh-HOH’-guh) County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the Cleveland man as 30-year-old Ronald Evans. Investigators say that someone apparently walked up to the side of the vehicle and fired the shots at him.

Police provided first aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting.

There was no information immediately released on any motive or suspect.
