Teen taken to hospital after being shot in apparent accident

CARLISLE, Ohio (AP) — Police in southwest Ohio say a teenage girl is expected to recover from an apparently accidental shooting.
Warren County Sheriff’s Sgt. Brian Hounshell said late Monday that investigation was continuing into the shooting, which happened around 5:42 p.m. EST at a home in Carlisle. The village is some 18 miles (29 kilometers) southwest of Dayton.
The girl was taken to a hospital, but no other details were released immediately.
