CLEVELAND (AP) — A brawl involving several patrons inside a Cleveland liquor store ended with a teenage boy fatally shooting a man, authorities said.

The shooting occurred around 6:20 p.m. Friday at the store in the city’s Lee-Harvard neighborhood.

Kevin Boyd, 24, was in line waiting to pay when an argument broke out between him, a 17-year-old boy and two other people, authorities said. A fight soon ensued and the boy eventually pulled out a gun and shot Boyd several times, authorities said.

The teen was arrested Saturday and was being held in the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center. Specific details on the charges he faces have not been released, and the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.

No other injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities have not said what sparked the argument in the store.
