American Pride Erects Patriotic Christmas Tree

ZANESVILLE, Ohio-American Pride Power Equipment is ushering the holiday season in with a bang this year. 

The storefront has erected a fifty foot tall American Flag themed Christmas tree right next to I-70. Owner Ryan Dodson tells us about the origins of the tree. 

“It comes from Nelson’s Seasonal Decor. They’re a local seasonal lighting company, they did the lighting for the flag out at my house and they do lots of huge projects and this is just another one of their great projects… He’s been working with me for a couple years trying to talk me into a little bigger statement for the community and we finally pulled the trigger this year.”

A crew of ten workers spent an entire day putting the artificial tree together. Dodson says he hopes it helps with morale for the community. 

“We could definitely use a morale boost right now. It’s been a tough year on everyone and we’re hoping this is just a little symbol of hope and joy and we’re able to focus on important things and the Christmas spirit and community.”, Dodson continued.
