MCCF Holding Help For Students

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, Ohio-The Muskingum County Community Foundation has partnered with various community partners to help high school students apply for colleges, scholarships, or find employment.
The “What Do You Need?” Wednesdays were a creation by Summer Jacobs of the Americorps Program within the MCCF. The event is entirely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“‘What Do You Need?’ Wednesdays is an event that we hold for all students. We are here to help with the FAFSA, college applications, scholarships, essays, resumes and so much more. Our next one is on February 17th from five to seven,” said Jacobs.
A head start for students is very important to set them up for their prolonged success. That fact is not lost on Jacobs.
“It’s important to us because we are extremely passionate about helping others. We really want students to find their path that they want after high school. We wanna help them find whatever it is that we can do to help them achieve all of their dreams… we would love to thank all of our volunteers. We have many different community members from our local different colleges and Muskingum County and Perry County libraries.”
Registrations can be made on the events page on the MCCF website.
