American Pride Power Equipment is offering a variety of snow-combatting items

ZANESVILLE – The company recommends at least considering a snow blower as opposed to a shovel.

“Snow blowers can definitely save your back. They’re very efficient. One of the advantages of a snow blower over a snow blade is you don’t end up with the piles at the end of the driveway or across the street because it just blows it finally into the lawn area and the snow blowers we sell have power steering so you don’t have to fight the snow blower as much, so, (its) a lot easier on the body than shoveling,” American Pride President Ryan Dodson said.

Dodson says there are different types of snow blowers that are available from the Cub Cadet manufacturer.

“In snow blowers, there’s a single stage, two stage, and Cub Cadet also (has) three stage snow blowers and two and three stage are by far the best models. The single stage is more like a push mower and it heavy snow it’s like pushing knee-high grass. It’s not fun to do, so, normally I recommend the two or three stage snow blower,” Dodson said.

Dodson also reminded customers not to forget their Springtime lawn care needs. With March approaching, the best lawn mowers are offered on a first come, first served basis.
