Thor Needs a New Home

Thor 2

The
Muskingum County Dog Warden and Adoption Center is looking for a new home for a
young hound mix.

Thor arrived
at the facility last month and he is estimated to be between two and three
years old.

“He loves
to barrel roll. He is very, very happy to do that. Yesterday, he actually had a
spa day and one of the volunteers took him to get groomed and so forth. He was
able to spend about three hours in the facility and was able to meet different
people and seemed to do very well. He does seem to be dog friendly and child
friendly,” said Doug McQuaid, Dog Warden and Adoption Center volunteer.

McQuaid said
Thor, who loves to go on walks and sniff, would make a great addition to any
home.

“When you
get a mixed breed and maybe even a little bit of an older dog, they realize how
much they have been rescued and really appreciate their owner,” said McQuaid.

If you
would like to adopt Thor, or any other dog at the center, contact the Muskingum
County Dog Warden and Adoption Center at (740) 453-0273.
