Command Center reports 4 deaths and 412 new COVID-19 cases in Muskingum County

ZANESVILLE, Ohio–The Muskingum County Joint Unified Command Center on Wednesday reported the following Muskingum County deaths from COVID-19: a 31-year-old and a 47-year-old who died with acute respiratory
failure due to COVID-19; a 52-year-old and a 68-year-old who died with COVID-19 pneumonia.
The Command Center also reported 412 new Muskingum County residents have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last seven days.
This number breaks down as follows: 57 reported on 8/25, 63 reported on 8/26, 56 reported on 8/27, 54 reported on
8/28, 58 reported on 8/29, 49 reported on 8/30, and 75 reported on 8/31.
There are 582 active cases of COVID-19 in Muskingum County along with 11 active vaccine breakthrough cases and 25 current hospitalizations.
