Rotary 98th Annual Christmas Party For Kids

The Zanesville Rotary Club held its annual Christmas Pizza Party at Adornetto’s Italian Food for elementary students in the Zanesville City School system.

Zanesville Rotary Club is a service club that follows the product of serving and provides community service to both local and international communities.

“We’ve got a great committee that works within the Rotary that plans for this and do a lot of the behind the scene work. We just appreciate the community supporting us as we do our various fundraising around the community. Those dollars go to pay for things like this and this is one of the many programs that we try to do every year,” Chuck Adams, President of Noon Rotary Club stated.

There were many children that were able to experience the Christmas party.

Santa Claus did surprise the kids and they were able to receive gifts also.

“We get to see kids reacting and being kids, and that’s the rewarding part. You do all the hard work and this is kind of the pay off for us is that we get to spend time and see kids really enjoy the benefit of the hard work we’re doing,” Adams said.

The kids also enjoy Christmas songs that were sung by Melinda Russell, one of the Rotary Club members.
