Lady Muskies Extend Win Streak to Nine Games

ZANESVILLE, OH- The John Glenn Lady Muskies have rolled off eight wins in a row. They haven’t lost in over a month. John Glenn traveled to Zanesville looking to extend the streak to nine.

Early first quarter Muskies with ball movement Mya Oliver goes to Jessica Church and her three pointer puts John Glenn up 3-0.

Then later in the quarter, Rylee McCuen jumps in the passing lane and gets a steal. She goes coast to coast for the left handed finish at the rim. Zanesville leads 4-3.

John Glenn shot well in the first quarter, Church looks in the direction of McKenzie Linscott and her shot is good from downtown. Muskies lead by 6.

Oliver gets a steal right before the break and has Church along with her. She finds Church for the lay up in transition. After taking the first quarter 20-11, the Muskies took control of the game beating the Blue Devils 68-49. Jessica Church finished with 21 in the game for John Glenn. Kandrea Sowers had a Zanesville high 20 points.
