Maysville Gets First Win Behind Fink’s Complete Game

NEW CONCORD, OH- The John Glenn Muskies and Maysville Panthers have struggled to find consistent wins so far this season. On Wednesday, the two teams met up in New Concord in hopes of getting back to winning ways.

Bottom of the first inning Muskies with a runner on third, Aaron Johnson hits it to deep left field Landon Iden makes the catch. Colt Emerson comes across to score on the sacrifice fly. John Glenn takes an early 1-0 lead.

Very next batter, Noah Winland hits it to the same spot in left, Iden comes sprinting in and goes full extension for the diving catch.

This game remained a pitchers duel and a low scoring affair, Tyler DeBolt makes a smooth play at short flipping it to second for the fielders choice.

Bottom of the third inning same score, Coen Fink gets Justin Stambush to fly out to deep center. The Panthers scored two runs in the fifth inning and that proved to be the difference picking up their first win on the year 2-1. Fink when the distance on the mound giving up just four hits.
